Elizabeth Ann Gaddy Rivers: I remember when the Hearns-Paul and Ethel D. Hearn-lived here. This apartment had been built by Arthur and Bernice Ballard Griggs, who had eventually planned to build a house in front of it. The Hearns, who lived on the Wexford Road, wanted to move to town, and the Griggses wanted to live in the country. Peg Griggs told me they just swapped! This apartment is rental property owned by members of the Lloyd Purser family. (Some of the Pussers legally changed their name to "Purser".)
