James W. Jenkins: Emmett Bell, who was a supervisor for the local office of the SC Highway Department, and his wife, Margaret Black Bell, lived here with their two sons, Emerson and David.
The Reverend E. N. Clower lived here with his wife, Carolyn Edgar Clower, and their children until they moved to the newly-built Presbyterian manse on Ivy Hill.
Felicia Flemming and her husband, Norris McCall, lived here until 2005. The Flemming family owns the funeral home on South Craig Street in the building that at one time was owned by J. B. Kneece.

Marge Werre Gaskins: The Reverend E. N. Clower and his family were the first ones to live in this house. Others who lived here whom I remember were John and Evelyn Alexander, John Frank and Betsy Norwood McLeod, Emmett and Margaret Black Bell, and Felicia Flemming.

Elizabeth Ann Gaddy Rivers: After Emmett Bell died and Margaret moved to the Methodist Home in Greenwood, the house was owned by Ron and Vickie Blackmon. He was the head football coach at Chesterfield High School. The current owners are Charlie and Meredith Sowell Wallace who bought the house in 2005.
