Dave Redfearn House
Kevin Lear House
Dr. Ken Dinkins House
William Eugene and Anita Oliver House

Amy Hendrix Redfearn: David Everett and Beulah Rivers Redfearn built this house about 1915. Prior to its being built, they lived with their three children in the house next door, now occupied by Penny Vernon. After moving into the new house, three more children were born, Lila Redfearn Williston, Ray Rivers Redfearn, and David E. Redfearn. Beulah Redfearn continued to live in the house until her death. After the death of Beulah Redfearn, Edgar Taylor Redfearn, Sr., the oldest son, purchased the house. The house originally had porches across the front and down both sides of the house. Over the years, the home has been remodeled to accomodate its various uses. Edgar Taylor Redfearn, Sr. remolded the house into three rental apartments. Many current residents of Chesterfield lived in these apartments. The house was used by the Council on Aging for a number of years. In 1993, Amy Hendrix Redfearn, wife of Edgar Taylor Redfearn, Sr., sold this house to Kevin and Karen Lear. They remodeled and updated the house in a very attractive maner, and named it “Magnolia House.” They lived in the upstairs living quarters and the first floor rooms were used for entertainment, weddings, receptions, and parties. The house was remodeled again in 1998 and sold to Dr. Ken Dinkins, Superintendent of Chesterfield County Schools. It once again became a single-family home. William Eugene and Anita Oliver own the home today (2007).
