Seeking information about Benjamin PARR of Chesterfield County, SC
I do have a little info on him but still do not have a birth or death confirmation. I believe
B. F. PARR was born aprx. 1879 in SC.
I have found a Frank PARR married to Sallie in 1910 census Jefferson township. He was
b. 1875. They had no children. I am not entirely sure this is the same person as my Frank.
July 1914 he married Nettie HALL b. 1882, d/o Silas and Sarah HALL of Chesterfield Co.
B. F. PARR stated on the marriage license "my wife is dead." They had 4 children: Edell PARR
(m. LOFLIN), Rosalee PARR (m. DRIGGERS), Leo PARR (m. WHITE), Claude M. PARR
September 1918 Claude being 7 days old died.
September 1918 War Registration card B. F. says he does not know his birthday, they est.
he is 38 yrs. old.
Jan. 1920 census Chesterfield Co. Frank & Nettie are together with 2 of the children.
April 1930 Nettie is widowed with the children. I know Nettie died in 1958. She is buried in
Chatham Memorials. Her dau. Edell and Jack LOFLIN (Edell's husband) and dau. Rosalee
beside her. But no mention of B. F. PARR.
As if he's disappeared. I am at a stand still with this one. Thank you.
